WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE HIGHWAY USERS?

Our broad membership allows the Highway Users to speak on behalf of the public interest, rather than the special interest.

Current Membership Levels
American Highway Users Alliance

Membership is open to associations, organizations and corporations operating in the highway community as well as to others who wish to support the Highway Users' efforts. Collective strength counts! The following Membership Levels are available:

To sign up for membership, select the category below for which you are eligible and print out the applicable membership application (from the pdf). Send your completed application with payment for your membership dues to the address on the application. We'll do the rest!

Full Benefits List for all levels of membership

  • Corporate Membership (pdf)
    For national and international corporations and nonprofit trade associations operating in and/or representing the interests of the highway community. Five levels of membership levels are offered: Benefactor, Patron, Sustaining, Supporting and National Advocate. Annual membership dues range from $1,100 to $55,000 and more.
  • Small Business Membership (pdf)
    For regional and local corporations, research organizations, transportation consultants, lobbying organizations, and publications whose economic livelihood is affected by highway transportation or who are serving the interests of highway users, primarily on a regional and local basis. Two levels of membership are offered: Affiliate and Associate. Annual membership dues range from $275 to $1,099.
  • State Advocate Membership (pdf)
    For state and local nonprofit organizations whose interests are tied to highway mobility and safety and who are serving the interests of highway users, primarily within a specified region or locale and who are neither eligible for membership as a Corporate Member nor as a (National) State Highway Users Conference Member. Membership dues are $275 annually.
  • (National) State Highway Users Conference Membership (pdf)
    For state highway users conferences that represent the interests of highway users and businesses whose interests are tied to highway safety and mobility within a specified region or locale. Highway users conferences are only eligible for this membership category. Membership dues are based on the number of state conference members serviced by The Highway Users and range from $500 to $4,000 and more annually.
