Congress has released the conference report on the final five-year highway bill, which is now entitled the FAST Act (“Fixing America’s Surface Transportation” Act) – click here. The Highway Users is currently examining the document and will send a legislative analysis to our members in the near future. It is unclear whether the FAST Act will be able to clear the Senate prior to the current deadline of December 4th, but a final vote in the House is expected this week. The Senate will clear the bill for the President’s signature soon after. Thanks to all of our members and grassroots allies for contacting your Members of Congress over these last few months.
