The Highway Users urged Congressional leaders to include a repeal of the rescission of $7.6 billion in Federal-aid highway contract authority as the Fiscal Year 2020 appropriations process moves forward. Congress is exploring including this vitally important repeal of the rescission in the National Defense Authorization Act, or some other appropriations vehicle and we wholeheartedly support that action.
