On January 6, the Highway Users submitted a letter to the Federal Highway Administration requesting a 90 Day Extension for Comments on MUTCD. A Notice of Proposed Amendment (NPA) was released by the Federal Highway Administration on the National Standards for Traffic Control Devices; the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for Streets and Highways. The NPA proposes the first significant update to the MUTCD in over ten years.
