(WASHINGTON, DC) – On February 2nd the U.S. Senate overwhelmingly approved Buttigieg’s nomination 86-13 to become the 19th U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary. The Highway Users looks forward to the opportunity to collaborate with Secretary Buttigieg on important highway transportation initiatives to ensure roadway investment is a top priority and to make our roads safer and less congested.
The Highways Users issued the following statement:
