American Highway Users Alliance Taps Andrew Stasiowski as President and CEO
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Highway Users Alliance announced today it has selected Andrew Stasiowski as its incoming President & CEO effective August 1, 2022. Stasiowski brings over two decades of policy and leadership experience, with his work in associations and on Capitol Hill. Stasiowski succeeds Laura Perrotta who stepped down from the role on April 1, 2022.
“After an extensive search, I am thrilled that Andrew was chosen as the incoming President & CEO,” said NSSGA President & CEO Michael Johnson, Chairman of the Highway Users Alliance. “With the variety of economic and policy issues facing the advancement of America’s motoring public, it will be critical to continue the momentum of advocacy efforts. Stasiowski’s experience with transportation policy and his knowledge of Capitol Hill will be a great asset to lead the Highway Users into the future.”
Stasiowski joins the Highway Users after serving as Vice President of Government Relations at the Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA), where he was instrumental in securing critical tax policy victories. Most recently, he led the industry response for several significant regulatory proposals. Prior to his work at the TRALA, Stasiowski worked on Capitol Hill as a Senior Legislative Assistant for then Rep. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV).
“The Highway Users have a critical purpose when it comes to representing the many businesses and individuals who rely on a robust and effective highway system across the nation. As we head into this next chapter, I hope to provide a unified voice to decide what is best for the broad interests of the motoring public,” said Highway Users President & CEO Andrew Stasiowski. “I also hope to further advance the mission by promoting policies that improve roadway safety, expand freedom of mobility and increase highway system performance.”
Stasiowski resides in Bethesda, MD with his wife and two daughters.
