1. Economic Security – Focused on how investments in our highways will increase our economic competitiveness and security in a global economy
2. Freedom of Movement – Focused on policies that increase access to the highways for the driving public. Expanding highways, reducing congestion, alleviating trucking bottlenecks
3. Safety – Focused on how investing in highways will increase safety for the traveling public
4. Innovation – How to incorporate new technology into the infrastructure to increase safety and efficiency for the movement of goods and people
5. Sustainable Funding / Lobbying & Media Strategy – Build out from the Highway Trust Fund (HTF) Working Group to advocate for the National Registration Fee to replace the current taxes that fund the Highway Trust Fund. Create the lobbying and media strategy for the HTF reform and begin Hill and media advocacy
