(WASHINGTON, DC) – The American Highway Users Alliance (Highway Users) President and CEO Andrew Stasiowski issued the following statement on the United States Department of Transportation Surface Transportation Kickoff:
“The Highway Users was thrilled to participate in this morning’s roundtable discussion with Secretary Duffy on the next Surface Transportation Reauthorization, and to attend the ‘America is Building Again’ kickoff event. Today’s discussions touched on many critical issues facing the surface transportation reauthorization and we look forward to building on those ideas as we move towards the next highway bill. The upcoming highway bill offers us a critical opportunity to address big problems with the nation’s highway infrastructure and having Secretary Duffy’s experience as a legislator and now as a leader who is willing to take on big challenges will be great for everyone who relies on a safe and efficient highway system.”
