The Highway Users has a Policy & Government Affairs (PGA) Committee that steers major legislative priorities for the organization. The PGA Committee also provides expertise and insight on policy documents that The Highway Users develops. This committee maps out strategy on major policy positions on such issues as public-private partnerships and the federal highway authorization bill. Within the committee are several task forces dedicated to the top issues facing the highway user industry. Each Highway Users member is entitled to have one organizational rep on the PGA Committee.
