The Highway Users hosted its Annual Meeting and Policy Conference on Capitol Hill in mid-November. This event was held right on the heels of the midterm elections and featured post-election analysis. U.S. DOT Deputy Secretary Jeffrey Rosen and Former Majority Leader Sen. Trent Lott delivered keynote remarks.
The meeting also featured Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE), Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR), Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA) and Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO), and key Congressional staff who discussed next steps on infrastructure legislation, NAFTA and a Highway Trust Fund fix. Continue reading
